From Lausanne to Nice, the 2026 Tour de France Femmes gave us 18,795 metres of climbing, nine days of changing yellow jerseys, and a race that refused to be decided until the final climb of the final stage.

Stage 3

GENÈVE → POLIGNY

Sigrid Haugset

Attacked with 88 kilometres remaining and kept going. The longest successful solo attack in the modern race’s history earned her the stage, the yellow jersey, and one of the rides of the entire Tour.

Stage 4

GEVREY-CHAMBERTIN → DIJON

Marlen Reusser

World time-trial champion Marlen Reusser delivered the ride everyone expected and nobody could match. She won the stage, took yellow.

Stage 5

MÂCON → BELLEVILLE-EN-BEAUJOLAIS

Demi Vollering

Attacked late, created the decisive selection, and won the three-rider sprint. Her first stage victory of the Tour was secured. It would not be her last.

On the steep Chemin de l’Arieta above Nice, Vollering attacked, opened a gap, and committed to the descent. She crossed the line alone and took yellow from Kasia by just eight seconds.
